To be nominated as 'Business of the Month', the business owner/employees should invoke a standard of excellence in the community, such as exemplary customer service, community involvement ... either political, personal or community service. A vote of members present at the general membership meetings or receipt of nomination forms decide which of the nominated businesses for that month wins.
The Business of the Month is awarded on the 15th of each month. Please complete the nomination form below if you would like to see a particular business awarded 'Business of the Month'.
Each year, at the "Annual Awards Banquet" in January, one business will be awarded 'Business of the Year'. This business will be selected from one of the 12 'Business of the Month' recipients from the prior year.
The criteria for consideration is as follows:
1. Business must be a chamber member in good standing for at least one year.
2. Must be in business over two years
3. Business must be nominated or voted on by the Chamber membership
4. Nomination forms must be received by the 15th of each month to qualify for that month's award.
