Dear Former Craterfest Vendors,
We appreciate all that you have done to support the Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce and it’s events including the former Craterfest. We have some good news for our former vendors! We have created a brand new event… The 1st Annual Wetumpka Community Expo!
We will host this family-friendly event on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in downtown Wetumpka, Alabama along E. Bridge, Hill, Court and Company Streets.
This event will be much like Craterfest, but on a smaller scale and will be set up throughout our downtown instead of GoldStar Park. You will have the option to pay for your booth fees with a credit card via ProPay when you submit your Vendor Application online (www.wetumpkachamber.com)
For those returning as former Craterfest vendors or those applying for the first time, here are the procedures:
Once you fill out and submit the online application, this will put you in line for application approval and booth assignment from our Community Expo committee.
However, you are not done yet! After submitting the online application, you must mail or email the following within seven (7) days after submitting the online application to keep your place in line. An acceptance email will not be sent until all paperwork is completed and received.
Check or money order for all booth fees as indicated on the online application receipt. (if not paying by credit card)

NOTE: Returning vendors will get priority assignment over new vendors ONLY if you submit your online application before Friday, March 16, 2018.
You will be notified by email if your application has been approved along with your booth assignment, set up times and a gridmap layout by Friday, April 27 2018. If we are unable to approve your application for this years’ Expo (duplication of vendor product etc…), we will mail you a refund for the amount submitted.
We will fill up vendor spaces in every parking space downtown, but there are a limited number of them, so don't delay in submitting your application ONLINE!
The Community Expo Committee is looking forward to working with all our vendors again this year. We will work hard at not duplicating the main items that are sold at our Expo. In order to do this, we must have your cooperation in listing every item you sell.
Each year we must follow new rules and regulations by the Fire Chief, Police Departments, Health Department and of course, the insurance companies. We ask that you read your application very carefully and follow all directions.
You will receive acceptance confirmation as a vendor as soon as all paperwork has been processed and our Community Expo committee decides on the best location for you based on your requests, and available space. Unfortunately we do not have electrical access at this time downtown, so your electrical needs must be met with a quiet generator.
In April, you will receive additional information regarding best times of arrival, a parking pass, if requested, and other necessary details.
Please keep in mind that our office gets busier as we get closer to the Community Expo date. So call if you have the need, and leave a message on our event line. Your call will be returned as soon as possible, but please be patient about any delay.
